25th anniversary of Moussa’s disappearance marked in Lebanon

BEIRUT, Lebanon: The twenty-fifth anniversary of the disappearance of Ayatullah Sayyed Moussa As-Sadr was observed in Lebanon on Sunday with Lebanese house speaker Nabih Berri called on the government to “do its utmost” to ascertain the fate of missing As-Sadr.

Ayatullah Moussa As-Sadr was disappeared in 1978 during a trip to Libya.

Addressing a gathering of an estimated 33,000 people held to mark the occasion, Berri said: “The Lebanese government should exert pressure to find out the fate of our missing Ayatullah and send a memorandum to the United Nations.”
