Imam Naqi (AS)’s martyrdom observance in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In connection with the Ashra-e-Mawaddat on the call of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (AS) was observed across the country on 3rd Rajab Monday with due reverence. On this occasion Majalis-e-Aza and Taboot processions were arranged that were attended by a large number of mourners who offered their condolences in the court of Holy Family (PBUT).

At Jamiatul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad, convener Ashra-e-Mawaddat Committee Bawa Syed Alaf Shah organized a Majlis-e-Imam Ali Naqi (AS). TNFJ Deputy Secretary General Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Zakir Ghazanfar Hussain Shirazi and various zakireen addressed the Majlis.

After Majlis-e-Aza Noha Khoani and Matamdari was performed by different Matami Organizations of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. A resolution adopted by the Majlis participants urged the government to implement Moosavi Peace Formula. Another resolution while condemning the Najaf-e-Ashraf incident termed it as an open enmity of colonial powers against Islam and humanity, and demanded the UN to arrest the culprits of this incident.

A Majlis-e-Shahadat Imam Ali Naqi (AS) was held at religious school Jamiatul Momineen Rawalpindi. Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Moulana Adeel Wisami, Syed Tabassum Kazmi, Aqeel Hussain Shah, Zakir-e-Ahlebayt Assad Abbas Naqvi and many others addressed after which Matamdari was performed. Special prayers for the eminence of Islam and sanctity of Sha’a’ir Allah were also made on this occasion.

Ashiq Hussain Jafery arranged a Majlis-e-Shahaadat Imam Ali Naqi (AS) at Markazi Imambargah Qadeemi Hussaini Mahaz Rawalpindi. The majlis was addressed by Zakir Ghulam Abbas Faridka, Zakir Sajid Hussain Rukan, Zakir Mukhtar Khokhar and various other scholars and zakireen. Juloos-e-Aza was taken out at the conclusion of Majlis that was attended by Matami Sangats of Lahore and Rawalpindi.

Majalis-e-Aza were also held at Imambargah Qasr-e-Shabbir (AS), Darbar Aaliyah Shah Pyara, Danishgah-e-Jaferia and Imambargah Greeci Line Chaklala.

Tanzeem Shia Aaimmah Masajid (TSAM) Islamabad also arranged Majalis-e-Aza in different Imambarghs of Islamabad. Tanzeem president Allama Fakhar Abbas Zahidi addressed a Majlis-e-Aza and threw light on the Seerat of Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (AS).

Central Majlis-e-Shahadat Imam Ali Naqi (AS) was arranged by Anwar Brothers at Sulemanabad addressed by Allama Matloob Hussain, Zakir Shajar Hussain Shajar, Moulana Zameer Hussain Naqvi of Sakkhar, Zakir Karam Hussain Hakimal, Khateeb Faateh Furat and Zakir Riaz Haidery. After Majlis-e-Aza Taboot Imam Ali Naqi (AS) was taken out and Matamdari was performed by Matmi Dasta Jorian, Matmi Dasta Chuhr Harpal and Matmi dasta of Narang Syedan.

Majalis-e-Imam Ali Naqi (AS) were also held at Masjid Imam Ali Naqi (AS), Imambargah Qasr-e-Imam Moosa Kazim (AS), Markazi Masjid Jaferia, Madrissah Jamia Wali Asr and Sulemanabad.
