Dubai witnesses birthday celebrations of Karbala Heroes

DUBAI: In celebration of the auspicious occasions of birth anniversaries of Heroes of Karbala, special mahafil and poetic gatherings continued in Dubai like other parts of the world.

A massive ceremony entitled as “Mehfil-e-Masumin (a.s.)” was held on Sunday, the night of Shaban 2 at Azakhana-e-Husseini of Dubai while Monday, the night of the Shaban 3, which marks the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hussein (a.s.) in the house of Sayedul Awsiya Hazrat Imam Ali (a.s.) and Sayedatun Nisa-il Aalamin Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (a.s.), witnessed a poetic gathering at which different poets recited their verses in turn in praise of the Sayed-osh-Shohada (a.s.).

Large number of people attended the programs held at the same venue.

Two more poetic gatherings also are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, the nights of Shaban 4 and 5 that mark the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (a.s.) and Hazrat Imam Zai-ol-Abidin (a.s.) at the same place.
