Ayat Tabrezi flays Najaf attack, lauds Ayat Al-Hakim

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Grand Ayatullah Sheikh Mirza Jawwad Tabrezi, shocked and grieved over the martyrdom of Ayatullah Baqer Al-Hakim, has denounced on Monday the heinous crime committed by anti-Islam and anti-Muslims elements outside the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) which left over 125 people martyred.

In a statement released from his office, Ayatullah Tabrezi lauded the great services of Ayatullah Al-Hakim rendered in the path of Islam saying, “He was an example to be followed.”

“He sacrificed his life in the service of the upright religion, and the Islam boasts of this family that sacrificed and presented a plenty in the line of loyalty and standing in front of the Ba'athi and the delinquents,” the statement said.

Ayatullah Tabrezi offered his condolence to Imam Sahib-ul-Asr (atf), Ulama and Fuzala of Hawzaat Al-Ilmiyah in the world, and to the honest knowledgeable family of Al-Hakim. He prayed that may Allah give place to the martyr with the prophet (S) and his pure progeny (AS).
