Marasim-e-Azadari continue in Iran on Arbaeen night

HOLY CITY OF MASH’HAD, Iran: Marasim-e-Azadari continued on Arbaeen night, night between Saturday and Sunday, in the holy shrines, tombs, mosques and hussainiyat in Iran.

Throngs of mourners from across the country began converging on the holy shrines of Hazrat Imam Ali Ar-Reza (AS) and his sister Hazrat Fatimeh Al-Masouma (AS) in the holy cities of Mash’had and Qom from the eve of Arbaeen.

Dressed in black, the mourners spend all their night in the a’maal of Arbaeen i.e. azadari offering their deepest condolences to the Imam-ul-Asr (AS) marking the occasion.

The programs including Majelis-e-Aza and mourning processions will continue till the night of Arbaeen on Sunday.
