Get coalition forces withdrawn from Najaf, Moosavi demands Annan

RAWALPINDI, April 16: The Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan chief Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while expressing grave anger and shock over American siege of Najaf-e-Ashraf has declared it an open challenge to the dignity and honour of the world of humanity and the Muslim Ummah in particular.

He expressed these views while addressing the office-bearers of the TNFJ Central Committee formed in connection with the 3-day Ayyam-e-Aza to be observed from 27 to 29 Safar marking the Demise of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and Martyrdom of Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.), here on Friday.

Agha Moosavi said Najaf-e-Ashraf is the burial place of Hazrat Adam (A.S.), Hazrat Noah (A.S.), and Khalifa-e-Rashid Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) for which it is respectable not only for Muslims only but also for the whole humanity.

He made a fervent appeal to President Gen. Pervez Musharraf to raise this most important issue on international forum while United Nations Secretary Kofi Annan should ensure restoration of peace in Iraq on top priority, while pressure should be built on the international Taghoot for pullout of allied forces from all holy cities including Najaf-e-Ashraf.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-afariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that piousness is the basis of religion and Shariat. In the Ayah-32 of Surah Hajj, it is said that whosoever respects the signs of Allah, so it is the matter of piousness of hearts. Similarly, it is said in Ayah-30 that whosoever respects the Hurmaatillah, so it is better for him before his Allah (Al-Quran Al-Hakim, translation Sheikh-ul-Hind Hazrat Maulana Mahmoodul Hassan, Tafseer Sheikh-ul-Islam Hazrat Maulana Shabbir Ahmed Usmani, provided by: Khadimul Harmain Sharifain Al-Malik Fahd bin Abdel Aziz Aal-e-Saud). The tafseer of Ayah-32 is that respect of Sha’a’ir Allah is not polytheism, a person who keeps the piousness in his heart and fear of Allah, he would respect all things in His name, that is not polytheism rather an absolute sign of Tauheed (oneness) that lover of Allah respect everything that is commensurate with Him.

That is why, he said, respect of Bait-Ullah, signs of Muhammad Rasool-Ullah (SAW), Kalam-Ullah, Sha’a’ir-Ullah, Aulia-Ullah is not only wajib (obligatory) but Aujab. He said at present, the soil of Prophets and Messengers is surrounded by international chief of terrorists and her agents, therefore, the whole Islamic World should strongly condemn the chief of the international world, and provide proof of being the United Ummah and protection of human dignity by forming a combined strategy, otherwise, they would not be remembered in future.
