Bahrainis, Kuwaitis observe Ar-Rasoul Al-Adham (s)’s martyrdom

MANAMA/ KUWAIT CITY: In commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Ar-Rasoul Al-Adham Prophet Muhammad (p), grand Majalis (mourning gatherings), Latmiyaat and Mawakib Azaiyah (mourning processions) were held across Bahrain and Kuwait.

In Bahrain, thousands of mourners attended these programs that began on Safar 27 and ended on Safar 28 with Coffin replica processions to offer condolences to the holy family of the Prophet (p).

The programs were witnessed in different mosques, hussainiyaat and Maatam including Maatam Al-Imam Al-Baqer (p) Bouri, Masjid Fatimah-tuz-Zahra (p) Hamd, Maatam bin Salum Manama, Maatam Ad-Darah, Maatam As-Samamik Manama, Hussainiyah Al-Qassab Manama, Maatam Al-Haaj Ali Al-Mulla Sanad, Maatam Raas Ar-Rumman, Hussainiyah Al-Haaj Ahmed bin Khamis and many others.

In Kuwait, the speakers and scholars threw light on the holy life and virtues of Ar-Rasoul Al-Akram (p) as well as his lofty status as he is Khatemul Ambiyaa (Seal of the Prophets), Sayyidul Mursaleen (Chief of the Messengers) and Afdhal’ul Khala’eq (Best of all creatures).

Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Vahidi and Sayyid Abdulwahab Al-Mousavi addressed at Hussainiyah Al-Jaffaria, while Sheikh Muhammad Al-Ateiki addressed at Hussainiyah Az-Zahraa (p).
