Marjaiyah keeps honor of Najaf dearest not rule, Al-Gharify By: Nabil Raza LONDON: A teacher in the Hawzah Ilmiyah Najaf-e-Ashraf Abdul Ameer Al-Gharify said during his visit to London that Al-Marjaiyah Ad-Diniyah (religious authority) always tries for rooting out every crisis without any discrimination. He was speaking about the ongoing stand off between Moqtada As-Sadr and United States forces. Al-Gharify said Al-Marjaiyah does not look into a person in particular whether he differs or agrees with it, and if the matter relates to the public interest and the religion then the religious authority goes for solution for the sake of the nation benefit. Criticizing TV channels particularly Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiyah for airing that there exists sectarianism in Iraq, he ruled out any such thing and said Shiite and Sunnis are brethren to each other living in the country with love and harmony since long. He said Shiite and Sunnis share each other’s pains and happiness and have marriages with each other. Al-Gharify said Al-Marjaiyah in the holy city of Najaf neither desires position nor rule but the propulsion of the vessel rudder that pleases Allah Glory be to Him. Meanwhile, Ayatullah Al-Qazwini during his visit to Ayatullah Shirazi's Public Relations Office in Iraq called for peace and stability in the holy cities. END |
