Ayat Jannati stresses to track supreme leader’s guidelines

TEHRAN, Iran: Tehran’s stand-in Friday Prayer leader Ayatullah Ahmad Jannati urged that at the start of another Iranian year everyone should make an effort to follow the guidelines set forth by the country’s Supreme Leader Ayatullah Khamenei.

He was addressing worshipers gathered in Tehran University campus during Friday Prayer sermon. He said all three branches of power in Iran should be ready to make an accounting of their performance and activities during their past tenures.

Jannati stressed that since the concept of an “Islamic Republic” was created by Islamic teachings, then one should never be taken apart from the other.
