London rally outcries human rights abuses in Held Kashmir By: Nabil Raza LONDON, Britain: Kashmiris throughout the world observed India’s Independence Day on 15 August as ‘Black day’ by holding protest rallies and gatherings. In London, British-Kashmiris organized a peaceful demonstration outside Indian High Commission condemning human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and demanding their right to self-determination under the UN resolutions. Carrying placards and posters inscribed with slogans against human rights abuses by Indian Security Forces in held Kashmir, the protestors called for implementation of the UN resolutions and lashed at New Delhi for its injustices to the Kashmiris.
