Pak: Imam Naqi (p) M-Day programs call for ensuring Najaf sanctity By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI: The Martyrdom Anniversary of 10th Sun of Imamat and Wilayat Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) was observed as a part of Ashra-e-Mawaddat throughout Pakistan like other global parts with devotion and respect on Friday, Rajab 3, on the call of chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.
Majalis-e-Aza were held followed by Taboot processions and Matamdari in all small and big cities and towns including the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on this occasion. ulema, waizeen and zakireen highlighted the seerat and character of Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.). Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Central Secretary Information, TNFJ while addressing Masjlis-e-Shahadat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) organised by Malik Anwar and brothers at Sulemanabad, Pirwadhai Road in Rawalpindi said, Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) was the symbol of knowledge, skill and generosity and was laced with all good qualities that should be in the Representative of Allah. He said the era of the Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) was the dark era of oppression, brutality and oppression in which he confronted with seven dictators and tyrant rulers but, he added, no one could shatter his enthusiasm and divert him from the right path as a punishment of which he kissed martyrdom. In his address, President Divisional Council TNFJ Rawalpindi Allama Syed Matloob Taqi said Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) proved through his deeds that martyrdom in way of religion, Shariat and the right path is that great a status that shines the forehead of Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) like the sun and moon. That is why, he said, the Holy Prophet (SAW) has declared martyrdom the death of the highest status that guarantees survival of the humanity. He said Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) is that great person of the Khanwada-e-Mawaddat that practical following of his pious Uswah could get this world rid of anarchy by turning it into a hub of peace. A resolution adopted after the Majlis strongly condemned the ongoing massacre in Najaf-e-Ashraf and desecration of holy shrine of Hazrat Ali (A.S.), and demanded immediate exit of the allied forces from the Iraqi soil, and asked the international organisations to play their role in ensuring the dignity and honour of the holy places, and protection of Maraje Uzzam, and Iraqi people. The resolution expressed complete solidarity with the oppressed people the world over including that of Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Palestine, and Chechnya. Majlis-e-Aza followed by Matamdari was also held at Imambargah Zain-ul-Abideen Rawalpindi under the auspices of District Ashra-e-Mawaddat Committee of the TNFJ, Shah Pyara Mosque Chuhr Harpal, Shia Jamia Mosque Shah Chan Charagh, Isna Ashari Mosque Greecy Line, Haideria Mosque Chittian Hatyan, Ahlebait Mosque, Mosque and Imambargah Jagerr-e-Ali Akbar and Imamia Mosque. Addressing a Majlis-e-Shahadat organised by Bawa Syed Alif Shah Naqvi at Imambargah Jamia Imam Sadiq Karachi Company Islamabad, Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani said, Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) is that great a personality who through positive and truthful actions taken with utmost patience, fortitude and affirmness made it clear on the world that any dictator of any era could not cause harm to Islam in the garb of Islam because it is the God’s promise that He is the protector and defender of His religion and His real representatives had been confronting the oppressors in every era. Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi and other zakireen also addressed the Majlis that followed Noha-Khwani and Matamdari by Matmi Dasta Karawan-e-Abbas. Majalis-e-Aza were also witnessed at different mosques and Imambargahs ofg the capital city of Islamabad including Jamia Mosque Jafaria, Mosque and Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra, Imam Ali Naqi Mosque, Imam Moosa Kazim Mosque, Sakina Mosque and Isna Ashary Mosque. According to reports reached Central Ashra-e-Mawaddat Committee office, similar gatherings were held in Lahore, Jehlum, Chakwal, Multan, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Karachi, Larkana, Haiderabad, Dadu, Kherpur Miras, Peshawar, Attock, Kohat, Quetta, Skardu, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad.
