Ayaat abducted in Holy Najaf

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Unknown armed men have abducted three religious personalities that include two Ayaat and one Hujjatul Islam in the holy city of Najaf.

According to London-based Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat on Monday, Grand Ayatullah Mehdi Al-Khurasani, Grand Ayatullah Reza Al-Mar’ashi and Hujjatul Islam Mehdi Al-Hakim were abducted by an armed group on Sunday. The group led them to an unknown direction after beating them.
