Kazemiyah meeting centers on City of Imam Ali (p), Marjaiyah

By: Jassem Al-Kazemi

HOLY CITY of KAZEMIYAH, Iraq: As Iraq is passing through tough circumstances, religious leaderships continued efforts for stopping the bloodshed in the holy land and extinction of flames of battle and caravan of intensive meetings and discussions aimed at finding a unified stance going on.

In this connection, Ayatullah Sayyed Hadi Al-Modarresi met with Ayatullah Sayyed Ali Al-Wa’ez, one of the most prominent scholars of holy city of Kazemiyah, and the legal representative of Ayatullah Sayyed Ali As-Sistani.

Kazemiyah houses the holy shrines of Imam Mousa bin Jafar Al-Kazem (peace be on him) and Imam Muhammad Taqi Al-Jawwad (peace be on him), 7th and 9th infallible descendants of holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him & his pure progeny).

The two sides exchanged views about the existing crisis in the Holy Najaf and other Iraqi cities. Describing the high status of Marjaiyah, Ayatullah Al-Modarresi said it is not possible for any Iraqi government to neglect Religious Authority.

They said that any military action in the sacred cities is considered an insult of the Muslims sanctuaries, there is no place for armament appearances in the cities of Ali and Al-Husayn (peace be on them). They urged all sides to avoid the profanation of holy sites.
