Hazrat Fatima (s.a.)’s martyrdom anniversary marked in US

CHICAGO, United States: Like other global parts, Martyrdom anniversary of Umm-ul-A’immah Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (s.a.) on Jamadi-us-Sani 3 was observed in different parts of the United States with mourners extending condolences to the holy family of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w.).

Marking the occasion, majalis-e-aza were held at mosques, imambargahs, husseiniyat and Islamic centers organized by various associations, societies and organizations.

In Chicago, Islamic Education Center Husaini Association of Greater Chicago arranged a two-day (July 20-21) majalis program attended by a large number of mourners. Gents majlis (mourning sitting) on 20 July was held after maghrebain (evening prayers) while ladies majlis on 21 July addressed by Naheed Kazmi was held before evening prayers.

Speakers paid rich homage to Hazrat Fatima Zahra (a.s.), daughter of Chief of Prophets holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w.), spouse of Commander of Faithful Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib (a.s.), mother of Chiefs of Youths of Paradise Hazrat Imam Hasan (a.s.) and Hazrat Imam Husain (a.s.) by highlighting her seerat and character.
