Bahrainis observe death anniversary of S. Umm Al-Banin (s.a.)

MANAMA, Bahrain: The death anniversary of Sayyedah Umm Al-Banin (S.A.), mother of Al-Abbas bin Ali ben Abi Talib (A.S.), was commemorated in Bahrain on 13 Jamadi II, 31 July with veneration and reverence.
Marking the occasion, Majales Al-Azayiah were held at various mosques, husseiniyaat and maatam, and Mawakib Al-Azaa were taken out attended by thousands of mourners. Renowned elegy-chanters recited elegies throughout the processions paying rich homage to the mother of Qamr-e-Bani Hashem (A.S.).
Speakers highlighted pious life of Sayyedah Umm Al-Banin (S.A.) who enjoyed great status of the one who brought up the children of the Mistress of Women of the World Sayyedah Fatimah Az-Zahraa (S.A.), beloved daughter of holy Prophet (S.W.). They said Umm Al-Banin (S.A.) is a great example for the women world.
