Tributes paid to Ayatullah Al-Khomeini in Majales By: Abdulali AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Marking the death anniversary of the founder of Islamic Republic of Iran Grand Ayatullah Sayyed Rohullah Al-Mousawi Al-Khomeini, mourning ceremonies were held in Saudi eastern parts in mid December. A mourning gathering was organized at Al-Abbas (p) mosque in Ar-Rabi’a in Tarout attended by large number of people. The program began with recitation of holy Quran followed by speeches, qasa’ed and latmiyah hosayniyah (chest beating). Speakers paid rich tributes to the great leader who served his life for the religion. A Majles Al-Azaa was held at Al-Mas’alah Mosque in Al-Qatif for the height of ranks of Grand Ayatullah Rohullah Al-Khomeini. END |
