Kuwaitis say Iraqis will foil anti-unity conspiracy By: Sultan Ahmed KUWAIT CITY: Association of Kuwaiti Shiia religious leaders has uttered deep concern over the terror bombings that rocked Iraq particularly the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala, which house the holy mausoleums of Al-Imam Ali (a.s.), Al-Imam Al-Hussein (a.s.) and Al-Abbas (a.s.), aimed at causing sectarian conflict in the country. In a statement on Wednesday, the association said the brutal crimes are taking place in order to create obstacle for the Iraqi people before they go to the polls scheduled for next month. “The Iraqi people - the Shia, the Sunni and Christians - will never allow those behind the terrorist operations reach their dirty goals,” the statement concluded advising Iraqi people to exercise self-restraint.
