Pakistan House to be built at Holy Karbala to ease pilgrims By: Salman Alvi ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Ministry for Religious Affairs has announced at a news conference to construct Pakistan House at Holy City of Karbala, Iraq, to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims at the mausoleum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.). The ministry said: “We already have a piece of land at Karbala, which was donated by Raja Sahib Mahmoodabad.” It said interested welfare institutions were being approached for undertaking construction of Pakistan House, adding that it would be third House after Holy Makkah and Holy Medina, where pilgrims would get appropriate accommodation and other facilities.
