Allamah Ash-Shehristani expires in Karbala

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Allamah Ash-Sheikh Muhammad Morteza Ash-Shehristani has expired in the holy city of Karbala that houses the holy shrines of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (as) and Hazrat Abbas (as).

Allamah Ash-Shehristani, a brother of Dr Abdur Razzak Ash-Shehristani, Ustaz Al-Haaj Abdelhadi Ash-Shehristani and Ustaz Mostafa Ash-Shehristani was died on Wednesday, Zul-Hijjah 26 at the age of 74.

The late Allamah was a contemporary of late Ayatullah As-Sayyed Muhammad Al-Husseini Ash-Shirazi and late Ayatullah As-Sayyed Hassan Ash-Shirzi.
