13-night Muharram Majales Al-Azaa going on in Montreal

MONTREAL, Canada: None of the world part is spared of Hosseini mourning with the beginning of the month of Muharram Al-Heram which is the month of grief and moans, month of Mosibah of Prophet Muhammad (p)’s progeny (p) and the martyrdom of Abi Al-Ahrar and Sayyidosh Shohada Al-Imam Al-Hossein (p).

Marking the saddest occasion, Al-Imam Al-Khoei Foundation Montreal holds a series of Majales Al-Azaa in arabic.

The 13-day Majales (Muharram 1-13) beginning at 8:30 PM are recited by renowned speaker Allamah Sayyid Ghiyath To'mah while the Latmiyah is by prominent dirge-chanter Al-Haaj Hussain Ar-Rumaithi.
