5th and 9th Imam (as)’s martyrdom marking in S Arabia

QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Like other global parts, mourning gatherings in commemoration of martyrdom anniversaries of Imam Taqi El-Javad (as) and Imam El-Baqir (as) were organized in different cities of Saudi Arabia.

Besides locals arranged holding of Majales Azaiyah, pilgrims who converged on the kingdom from every corner of world for hajj pilgrimage also organized similar gatherings to mark the sad occasions.

Addressing the mourners, speakers highlighted the pious life of Imams (as) and urged the need to follow their path for success in the world and the hereafter.

Majalies were also held to observe the martyrdom anniversary of emissary of Imam Hussein (as) in Kufa Muslem ben Aqil (as).

In Qatif, crowds attended Majales of Imam Baqir (as) at mosques and husseiniyaat. Later, the mourners took to the streets of Qatif chanting ‘Ya Hussein… Ya Hussein’.
