Saudi CP stresses Iraq unity during talks with delegation

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: A delegation of US-installed Iraqi Governing Council that landed in Riyadh earlier this week held talks with Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz here on Sunday.

According to the head of delegation Ayatullah Bahr-ul-Ulum the Crown Prince stressed kingdom's support for Iraq's unity during the meeting.

“Saudi officials have voiced their keenness that Iraq should remain united and their support for the Iraqi people's efforts to form an elected government,” he said.

Saturday, the delegation called on Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal and discussed bilateral issues including the situation along the Saudi-Iraqi border.
