Lebanon witnesses Intl conference marking Shams Od-Din D-day

BEIRUT, Lebanon: Lebanon’s Shams Od-Din charitable cultural Society established an international conference marking the third death anniversary of Al-Allamah Sheikh Mohamed Mahdi Shams Od-Din, reports said Sunday.

Religious, political and cultural delegations as well as representatives of Lebanese President and Prime Minister attended the conference addressed by Ebrahim Mohamed Mahdi Shams Od-Din, Vice President higher Shiite Islamic council Sheikh Koblan, Ash-Sheikh Bahjat Gheth, Ash-Sheikh Erimat and many others.

The speakers highlighted the life of deceased Allamah Sheikh Mohamed Mahdi Shams Od-Din paying rich tributes to his services rendered for promotion of pious mission of Ahlul Bayt (p).
