Majalis, z-zani mark Day of Piety; Moosavi says US chief terrorist

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Youm-e-Shahadat, or the Martyrdom Anniversary, of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) was observed throughout the country as “Youm-e-Taqwa” (Day of Piety) on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Majalis-e-Aza were held at mosques, Imambargahs, and Aza-Khanas on this occasion addressed by ulama and zakireen who highlighted the seerat and character of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.). Taboot processions were taken out from all big and small cities, towns and villages during which Matmi Azadars presented ‘Pursa’ (condolence) in the Bargah-e-Risalat and Imamat through ‘Seena-Zani’ and ‘Zanjir-Zani’.

Agha Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan while addressing Majlis-e-Shahadat on this occasion, said that seerat of Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) stands guarantee for blessings and welfare, and the Muslim Ummah could get rid of all problems by following that seerat.

He said the era of Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) spread over 25 years saw the preaching and dissemination of Islam, protection of Shariat-e-Muhammadi, and welfare of the humanity, and even the detention and other difficulties could not divert him from the path of welfare and he ultimately kissed martyrdom as a ‘punishment’ but made it clear on the world that those who are on the right path never bow down before the evil.

Moosavi said today the whole world of humanity was crying, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kashmir and Palestine are bleeding, no one is there to take care of the Islamic World and the oppressed nations, and in these circumstances, American president Bush could add fuel to the fire by announcing war against any State any where and any time.

He said conspiracies are being hatched against the Islamic World and the noose is being tightened against them day by day, and Pakistan being an ideological State is a particular target of colonial conspiracies. He said the echoes of transferring terrorism and atomic technology to other States and creation of extremist society is a part of propaganda of interference and a part of that conspiracy. He said that Gen. Musharraf while addressing the joint session of the Parliament had talked about these challenges.

The TNFJ chief went on saying that the world is now aware that America is the biggest terrorist, when she is supplying modern technology to India and Israel herself then why she is binding other States not to do so? He said the objective of increasing pressure for solution of Kashmir and Palestine issues is actually to maintain Indian and Israeli supremacy.

He said President Musharraf has often talked about bright thinking and normalcy on different fora and in different countries but one could not clap with a single hand. He said first of all, chief of the colonial powers America has to adopt the path of normalcy contrary to the path of massacre she has already adopted.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya, Agha Moosavi made it clear that oppression, terrorism, and evil could only be rooted out through justice, fair-play and good. He demanded from President Musharraf to take notice of detention and interrogation of Pakistani scientists as it is a heinous conspiracy aimed at defaming scientists of the motherland in society so that they may alight themselves from the atomic technology plans and no one could gather courage to come to this field in future.

He said in the echoes of peace road map and dialogue, the rulers should keep in mind that the durable solution of Kashmir issue lay in resolving it in line with the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desire of the people while other issues are of secondary nature. He therefore called upon the government to revise her steps, announcements, and assurances before starting a dialogue.

Meanwhile, according to reports reaching the Tehreek headquarters, Youm-e-Taqwa programs were held in Islamabad, Wah, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Chakwal. Bhakkar, Khairpur, Karachi, Larkana, Dadu, Haiderabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, Dera Ismail Khan, Peshawar, Kohat, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, Skardu etc.

In Kafi Fateh Muhammad Sabzwari Sehwan, a great Youm-e-Taqwa gathering was held. Khateeb Fateh-e-Farat, Ghulam Raza Qazi, Maulana Shabbir Wadho, and other ulema and zakireen addressed. Later Matamdari was held at the Darbar of Qalandar Lal Shahbaz (R.A.) in which Matmi Tanzeems derived from different Sindh districts participated.

Allama Mazhar Hussain Abidi address a Youm-e-Taqwa gathering in Shah Faisal Colony Karachi, Lutfullah Shah Lakyari, Barkat Hussain Jafri at Qasr-e-Imam Musa Kazmi Naudero Larkana, Syed Muhammad Naqvi and Allama Mahdi Moosavi at Aza-Khana Pando Street Lahore, Maulana Qaswar Abbas at Jamia Aal-e-Imran Fatimia Bhakkar, Allama Saqlain Haideri at Markazi Imambargah Waryamal Chakwal, Maulana Ijlal Haider Masoomi at Mashadi House Dhoke Syedan Rawalpindi, Maulana Agha Hussain Kazmi at Imambargah Hussainia Pindigheb, Maulana Asghar Roohani at Imambargah Isna Asharia Chak Gujrat, Allama Basharat Hussain Imami at Madrassah Wali Al-Asr Islamabad, Khateeb-e-Millat Tariq Ahmed Jafri at Hazara Town Quetta, President Kashmir Council Syed Riaz Hussain Kazmi and MSO president Syed Irshad Naqvi in Domail Syedan Kashmir, Sardar Hassan Ali Qazilbash and Maulana Wajid Ali Kiyani addressed similar gatherings at Imambargah Master Ghulam Haider Mohallah Marviha Peshawar.

Majalis-e-Shahadat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) were also held at Sherkot Kohat, Imamia Hall Mohallah Jogianwala Dera Ismail Khan, Masjid-e-Ahle Bait Wah Cantt., Baithak Shaikh Murad Bux Jhelum, Imambargah Haideria 45 Block Dera Ghazi Khan, Dar-ul-Tableegh Jafariya Rahwali Cantt. Gujranwala, and Ali Masjid Gadeji Khairpur on the occasion of Youm-e-Taqwa.
