Iranians mourn Hazret-e-Fatima (s.a.) holding majalis By: Sheikh Muhammad Khurasani HOLY CITY OF MASH’HAD, Iran: Five-day Marasim-e-Fatimi marking the Martyrdom Anniversary of Biz’atol Mostapha (s.w.), Omm-e-Abeehaa Hazret-e-Fatimeh Zahra (s.a.) wrapped up across Iran with religious spirit and reverence on Jamady-us-Sany 5.
Grand majales-e-aza were held on the eve of the martyrdom anniversary on Tuesday and also throughout Wednesday at the holy shrines of Hazret-e-Imam Ali Ar-Reza (a.s.) in the holy city of Mash’had, Hazret-e-Masoumeh (s.a.) in the holy city of Qom and tomb of the founder of Islamic republic Ayatullah Khomeini (late) in Tehran as well as at husseiniyaat, mosques and Ayaat offices where big black banners inscribed with condolence statements were placed. Speakers brought to light different aspects of the life of holy Prophet Hazret-e-Muhammad (s.w.)’s beloved daughter Hazret-e-Zahra (s.a.), her high status in the light of Quran and Hadis, her sufferings and her martyrdom. They emphasized on following in the footstep of Hazret-e-Fatimeh (s.a.) for success in the world and the hereafter. Dirge-chanters recited dirges to mark the occasion. Mourners paid rich homage to her (s.a.) by performing azadari. Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatullah Ali Khamenei attended Marasim-e-Fatimi at Ayatullah Rouhullah Khomeini’s tomb in Tehran. Meanwhile, massive mourning processions led by Ayaat and religious scholars were taken out from offices of Ayaat, different husseiniyat and mosques. The processions culminated on reaching the holy shrines in the holy cities of Mash’had and Qom by offering condolences in the court of Hazret-e-Imam Ali Ar-Reza (a.s.) and Hazret-e-Masoumeh (s.a.) on the martyrdom anniversary of their grandmother Hazret-e-Fatimeh Zahra (s.a.), Mistress of the Women of World. The mourning programs that began on Jamady-us-Sany 1 continued till Jamady-us-Sany 5 throughout the country. END |
