Syria: Fatemiyah commemoration calls for Baqi rebuilding By: Sultan Ahmed
DAMASCUS, Syria: A five-day annual mourning program marking the martyrdom anniversary of holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hp)’s beloved daughter Sayyedah Fatemah Az-Zahra (pbuh) demanded from the Saudi authorities in the name of hundreds of millions of followers of Ahlul Bayt (pbut) reconstruction of destructed graves of A’immah Ahlil Bayt (pbut) in the holy cities of Medina and Mecca. The program, consisting of Majalis and Latmiyat, was held at the Husseiniyah Hawza Ilmiya Zainabiyah, Damascus attended by throngs of mourners. Renowned speaker Ash-Sheikh Abdelhameed Al-Mahajir addressed the majalis that concluded on 13th of Jamadi Al-Awwal, Friday. During his speeches, Al-Mohajir urged authorities in Saudi Arabia to work for the rebuilding of leveled holy graves of the daughter and descendants of holy Prophet (pbuh&hp), Sayyedah Fatemah (pbuh), Al-Imam Hasan Az-Zakee (pbuh), Al-Imam Zain Al-Abidin (pbuh), Al-Imam Al-Baqer (pbuh) and Al-Imam As-Sadeq (pbuh), and to turn to Quran, Tafaseer, and Books of Hadith .i.e. Bukhari, Tirmazi etc to find out the honor and merit of visiting the holy graves and their construction.
He threw light on the pious life of mother of A’immah, Sayyedah Az-Zahra (pbuh). He spoke in detail on the sufferings of the Mistress of Women of World quoting from sources of both Aammah and Khassah .i.e. Az-Zahabi says in Mizan Al-Adl and Shahrestani says in Al-Milal wa An-Nahl that they came with woods and fire, and they did not desire to torch the house (of Sayyedah Fatimah Az-Zahra (pbuh)) but to burn Sayyedah Az-Zahra (pbuh), the beloved daughter of holy Prophet (pbuh&hp) about whom he said: “Fatemah is part of me; he who hurts her, in fact hurts me..” Al-Mohajir called for success of Iraqi people, reconstruction of Iraq and particularly the holy cities of Najaf, Karbala, Kazemiyah and Samraa, building of schools in the name of Ahlul Bayt (pbut), mosques and husseiniyat in Iraq.
