Bahrainis laud services of Ayatullah Al-Khomeini

MANAMA, Bahrain: The occasion of 15th death anniversary of Grand Ayatullah Sayed Ruhullah Al-Khomeini (qoddisa sirrohu), founder of Islamic Republic of Iran and leader of Islamic Revolution, was observed in Bahrain also, like other countries.

Special gatherings were held at different husseiniyat, matam and mosques to mark the occasion. Speakers, in their speeches, paid rich tributes to the late leader lauding his great services.

A special program in this connection was held at Matam Bin Khamis attended by large number of people. Different speakers including Dr Ali Al-Areiby addressed while poet Nasser Zein offered poetic tributes to Ayatullah Al-Khomeini.
