Grand Ayat Mufti-ush-Shia condoles Moosavi on Quetta incident By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Grand Ayatullah Al-Haaj Sayyid Mufti-ush-Shia in his message via fax to Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya, who is also the Chief of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi An-Najafi has condoled the bereaved families of Quetta martyrs, and Ulama on the tragic incident of Quetta which occurred on Ashoura day leaving more than four and a half dozen people martyred and 175 injured. “I offer condolences generally to all Pakistanis and particularly to you, Ulama-e-Aalam and families of martyrs on the tragic incident of Quetta,” the message said. The Grand Ayatullah Mufti-ush-Shia termed the Quetta incident anti-Islam conspiracy. Likewise, he called the incidents occurred in the Iraqi holy cities of Karbala and Kazmain a continuation of terrorism. He prayed for height of ranks of the martyrs besides protection of all Islamic countries including Pakistan and Iraq as well as Islamic world. The Ayatullah said: “Cruel hands of enemies of Islam dipped in blood countless mourners and pilgrims in Karbala and Kazmain in Iraq and Quetta in Pakistan on Ashoura Day.” “Certainly the followers of Ahlu Bayt (a.s.) had committed no sin, and these incidents were a tactic aimed at creating rift among Muslims and tearing their unity in pieces,” he added. “I pray in the court of Allah for glory of Muslims, great reward and forbearance for the sufferers, and elevation of ranks of the martyrs,” he concluded.
