Germany witnesses Husseini mourning programs

KIEL, Germany: Husseini mourning was also held in Germany like other global parts marking the tragedy of Karbala.

In Kiel, 13-day (Moharram 1-13) majales al-azaa were organized at At-Tohid Mosque attended by large number of followers of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.).

Hojjatol Islam Val-Muslimin Sheikh Abdel Amir Al-Khaffaji addressed these majales and highlighted in detail the reasons, objectives and consequences of Husseini revolution. He urged the need of following the path of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) for success in the world and the hereafter.

After address everyday, renowned dirge-chanters As-Sayyid Zaki and Molla Nabil recited Husseini dirges. After zyaratol Imam Al-Hussein (a.s.) dinner was served in the name of Chief of Youth of Heaven Al-Imam Al-Hussein (a.s.).

On the dawn of Ashura, rituals of Tatbir and Darb bis Soyoof (hitting swords on head) were performed under the arrangements of Mawkab Tatbir Sayyidosh Shohada (Germany branch) to pay rich homage to Al-Imam Al-Hussein (a.s.), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (s.w.), who saved Islam with his blood in the plain of Karbala.

Later, Sheikh Al-Khaffaji recited Maqtal Al-Husseini, or the martyrdom of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (a.s.) in detail.
