Ravians observing Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala

LAHORE, Pakistan: Mourning Programs in connection with Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala (Muharram 16-25) continued in Lahore like other parts of the country.

Pakistani Shiite leader and Chief of TNFJ Agha Moosavi announced the Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala marking the Martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Ali bin Hussain Zain-ul-Abideen (a.s.) who defended the blood of Karbala Martyrs and disseminated the message of Hussainiyat.

Marking the occasion, grand majalis-e-aza are being held and huge mourning processions taken out from different imambargahs attended by thousands of hussaini mourners.

On 18 Muharram, a Zuljinah procession was held at imambargah Bava Sada. Mourners by performing zanjir-zani offered their condolences to Imam Sahibul Asr, the Imam of the Era (a.s.) on the tragedy of Karbala.
