Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala observation in Pak twin cities By: Salman Alvi ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Majalis and mourning processions in connection with Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala as announced by Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi continued on Saturday in twin cities of federal capital Islamabad and Rawalpindi like other cities of the country. Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala (Muharram 16-25) is being observed across the country to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (AS) who protected the blood of Karbala Martyrs and disseminated the message of Hussainiyat.
In Islamabad, majalis were held in different imambargahs and azakhanas including Jamiatul Murtaza G-9/4, Markazi Imambargah Shah Allahditta and Imambargah Evan-e-Mustafa. The speakers threw light on the seerat and character of Beemar-e-Karbala who despite being chained fulfilled his duty entrusted to him by Allah. In Rawalpindi, a majlis-e-aza was held at the residence of Zulfiqar Hussain Jafri. Central Secretary Information TNFJ Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing urged the need to follow the path of Hazrat Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (AS). He said Haideri courage and Hussaini determination practically displayed by Imam Sajjad (AS) in the bazaars and courts of Kufa and Sham is beacon of light for the oppressed world even today. MFP Guardian Council Chairman Abu-Bedar Ali also addressed. Majalis were also held at Masjid Sakina (AS), Imambargah Jageer Ali Akbar (AS), Imambargah Sakhi Shah Nazar Diwan Syed Kasran, Imambargah Shaheedan-e-Karbala, Imambargah Hifazat Ali Shah and Imambargah Qasr-e-Zainab (AS).
