First Al-Hossein (p) conference, exhibition held in Iraq

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Holy city of Karbala witnessed first Al-Hossein (p) conference attended by large number of philosophers, litterateurs, academic figures and scholars as well as representatives from different parties.

The conference titled “Al-Hossein (p) a human revolution” was held at Karbala University. Ustaz Ali Adeeb, a representative of Iraq Dawah party, delivered his speech and termed the message of Ashoura a message of revolution against oppression and despotism.

Sheikh Muhammad Baqer An-Nasseri and chancellor of the university Dr. Abd-e-Aun Al-Ghanami also attended.

Later, a dialogue was opened on the topic of Al-Imam Al-Hossein (p) and its future effects in Iraq freedom.

On the sidelines of the conference, opening of an exhibition to the artistic paintings and the alive posters that described the situations that appeared in Karbala plain in such days took place.

A number of renowned artists including Hazem Al-Ashab and Fazel Ash-Shemri participated in the exhibition.
