Indian Muslim leaders focus on solving problems By: Irfan Malik MUMBAI, India: Indian Muslim leaders held a meeting here focusing on problems being faced by Muslims, reports said. Addressing the meeting, president of Indian Muslim Federation of America said that it is high time for Indian Muslims to concentrate in finding solutions to their basic problems. Renowned jurist Justice A.M. Ahmadi, who is also former chief justice of Indian Supreme Court, underlined the need for setting up of Muslim Educational Council with the objective of improving the standard of Muslim educational institutions, especially those for women. Other speakers at the meeting also highlighted the significance of improving the academic standard of Muslim religious schools, and making available of education in computer and other modern sciences to Muslim students in order to make them fit for taking up of all types of jobs.
