Protector of Hussaini Blood’s martyrdom marked across globe

WASHINGTON: The martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ali bin Al-Hussain (peace be on him), the 4th infallible descendant of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be on him & his pure progeny), was observed throughout the world on Muharram 25 with due veneration.

Marking the occasion, grand majalis-e-aza and huge mourning processions were held in Iraq, Syria, Iran, United States, Britain, Sweden, Germany, France, China, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tanzania and other countries.

Flocks of mourners gathered at the holy shrines housed in the holy cities of Iraq, Iran and Syria to offer their deep condolences to the family of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be on him & his pure progeny) on the martyrdom of Imam Zayn-ul-Abidin (peace be on him) who was the inheritor and trustee of the Blood of Imam Hussain as well as objective of Great Martyrdom.

Speakers in their addresses highlighted the pious life of Imam Zayn-ul-Abideen (peace be on him) who despite being chained not only unveiled the real face of Yazidiyat to the world through his bold addresses and sermons in the Kufa and Damascus but also destroyed the foundations of Yazidi Palaces.

The mourning programs also demanded from Saudi government to reconstruct the bulldozed holy mausoleum of Hazrat Imam Syed-us-Sajideen Zayn-ul-Abidin (peace be on him) along with other pious personalities of Islam’s housed in the Cemeteries of Baqee and Moalla in Medina and Mecca respectively.
