Azadari is greatest protest to confront colonial intrigues, Moosavi

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that Azadari of Mazloom-e-Karbala (A.S.) is the greatest protest and best jihad to confront the pressure and conspiracies of international colonial powers.

He stated this in a statement issued from Tehreek headquarters here on Thursday in which he thanked all schools of thought for their practical display of mutual brotherhood and understanding on the occasion of Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala (A.S.) declaring that their pious spirit is appreciable.

Agha Moosavi said international colonial powers desire to shatter the Ummat-e-Wahida by creating differences amongst them. Therefore, he said, Azadari programmes during Ayyam-e-Aza are the best to thwart their conspiracies.

He said Islam is the life-giving system that imposes the obligation of resolving all problems and difficulties of human societies besides following Amar Bil Maroof and Nahi Anil Munker on the basis on which Muslim Ummah has been declared best of all Ummahs. He said this is a visible obligation through which justice and fair-play could be restored, and oppression, brutality, and terrorism are rooted out.

He said the best of the targets of Prophets’ inheritor Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) was Amar Bil Maroof and Nahi Anil Munker that could only be performed through patience, firmness, and forbearance.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi appealed all countrymen regardless of any differences to highlight the message of Hussainiyyat till 8th Rabiul Awwal and keep the honour and dignity of pious religious leaders intact. He said those who try to inculcate differences amongst recognised schools of thought are enemies of not only Muslims but the whole humanity.
