OIC at UN reiterates support for Kashmiris By: Nabil Raza GENEVA: The Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) has reiterated support to Kashmiris for their right to self-determination for which achievement they have been struggling for more than a half-century. Speaking at the 60th Session of the UN Human Rights Commission here, secretary-general of Jeddah-based OIC Dr. Abdul Wahed Belkeziz said: “The situation in Kashmir calls for the people there to be given the opportunity to exercise their self-determination and for the implementation of the international legitimacy resolutions that were issued by Security Council over half a century ago.” Meanwhile, a remote-controlled bomb hidden in a motorbike exploded as an Indian army convoy passed over a bridge Saturday, killing two soldiers and wounding 40 others in Indian occupied Kashmir, police said.
