Grand programs mark Imam Sajjad (p)’s Martyrdom in Bahrain

MANAMA, Bahrain: Like other global parts, the Martyrdom Anniversary on 25th of Muharram-ul-Haram of Al-Imam Ali bin Al-Hussein (p) was marked in Bahrain with due fervor, with speakers highlighting the pious life of the 4th infallible Imam (p).

Mosques, Maatam and Husseiniyat in all Bahraini cities and town witnessed grand mourning sittings and processions attended by thousands of black-dressed mourners who by performing mourning rites offered their deep condolences to the Last Proof of Allah on earth, the Imam Al-Asr (p) on the martyrdom of the Protector of Husseini Blood and founder of Husseini mourning Al-Imam As-Sajjad (p).

Mourning programs began at the eve of 25 Muharram to commemorate the occasion. Renowned dirge-chanters participated. Special meals were prepared to be served to the Husseini mourners.
