Pak twin cities commemorating Martyrs of Naynawa By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: In commemoration of Martyrs of Naynawa who rendered great sacrifices in the desert of Karbala for survival and development of Monotheism, Prophethood and highest values of humanity, mourning programs continued Friday across the country. In this connection, scholars and speakers while addressing at different mosques and imambargahs of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi threw light on the seerat of the Master of Martyrs Hazrat Imam Hussain ibn-e-Ali (AS) and heroic deeds of his faithful companions. Orators, in their Friday sermons, termed the following in the path of Hussainiyat success in the world and the hereafter, and a best solution for end of problems being faced by oppressed and Muslim nations. Addressing a Friday congregations at Kazimia Mosque, Imam Juma Wal Jamat Allama Syed Matloob Hussain Taqi denounced the publication of an offensive article regarding Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (AS) in daily ‘Ummat’ Karachi and demanded from the government to take strict action against the newspaper under Anti-Terrorism Act. The gathering resolved to keep acting upon during Ayyam-e-Aza the Code of Azadari issued by Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Moosavi. Allama Syed Ikhlaq Hussain Kazmi got a resolution passed from a Friday congregation at Qasr-e-Imam Moosa Kazim Sadat Colony I-10 against the daily Ummat bringing to light the great status of Hazrat Ali (AS) in the light of Quran and Sunnah. Qalandar Committee organized an annual Majlis-e-Aza in commemoration of Hazrat Sakina Bintul Hussain (AS) at Darbar Sakhi Shah Pyara Chuhr Harpal. Khateeb Fateh Furat addressed. He said that in the battle of Karbala, youths and children besides old companions’ sacrifices played unparallel role to help the truth. He said Hazrat Sakina Bintul Hussain (AS) shattered the palace of Yazidiyat proving mazloomiyat of her father Hussain ibn-e-Ali (AS) in bazaars and courts along with the chaste ladies of holy family from Karbala to Kufa and Syria. At the conclusion of the majlis, Alam of Hazrat Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (AS) was taken out and different matmi contingents of Rawalpindi performed matamdari. An annual Majlis-e-Aza was held at the residence of Mukhtar Students Organization Secretary General Syed Mohibb-e-Ali Naqvi. Molana Ijlal Masoumi, Syed Naseer Sabzawari and Zakir Qamar Mukhtar Kausar addressed. Later, Alam was brought out and matamdari was performed. END |
