Martyrdom of Holy Prophet (p)’s grandson marked in Bahrain

MANAMA, Bahrain: Bahrainis commemorated martyrdom anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hP)’s grandson and second infallible descendant Al-Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba (pbuh) on Safar seventh.

Grand mourning programs were held at all mosques, maatam and husseiniyaat across the country during which speakers highlighted the seerah of Al-Imam Al-Hassan bin Ali (pbut) in detail.

By performing azadari rites, the flocks of mourners offered condolences to Al-Imam Al-Asr (pbuh) on the martyrdom of his grandfather Al-Imam Al-Hassan (pbuh). Renowned dirg-chanters participated in the processions and recited dirges.
