Hosayni procession held in Al-Awamiyah

AL-AWAMIYAH, Saudi Arabia: A Hosayni mourning procession was taken out in Awamiyah on Muharram 13 Friday night paying homage to the martyrs of Karbala.

According to reports the procession which began at 11:30 PM from Ar-Rasul Al-Adham Mosque, Awamiyah was attended by thousands of mourners including a number of youth groups.

They were performing chest beating and reciting elegies to offer their deep condolences to Imam Al-Asr (may Allah hasten his reappearance).

Renowned elegy-chanter from Bahrain Ja’far Ad-Darrazi besides many others participated in the procession, which culminated late night.
