City of Imam Hussain & H-Abbas (p) hosts first poetry conference

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Marking the martyrdom of Al-Imam Al-Hussein bin Ali bin Abi Talib (p), a poetry conference was held in the holy city of Karbala.

The conference organized in the hall of As-Sadeq Center for culture and guidance was attended by at least twenty-seven Iraqi poets that include Vajih Abbas, Ali Hasan Al-Favaz, Nofal Abu Raghif, Hussein Al-Qassed, Sabah Al-Halbousi, Muhammad Al-Gharib, Yousuf Al-Muhammadavi and many others.

The poets offered poetic tributes to the Master of Martyrs Al-Imam l-Hussein (p) who saved high values of Islam by laying sacrifice of His every thing in Karbala’s plain.
