Malaysians pay homage to Sadiqayn, peace be on them

KUALA LAMPUR, Malaysia: Several programs and functions were held in Malaysia on the occasion of birthday of holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hp) and his sixth infallible descendant Al-Imam Jaffar bin Muhammad As-Sadiq (pbuh).

Believers arranged the festive programs at mosques, husseiniyat, imambargahs and Islamic centers in various states and regions of the country in which speakers urged Muslims to exert efforts to strengthen Islamic unity and solidarity as well as to practice the Islamic way of life, strictly adhering to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hp) and his Ahlul Bait (pbut).

An official function marking the occasion of holy Prophet (pbuh&hp)’s birthday was organized at the stadium in Kuala Lumpur. A large number of prominent personalities including the King Sirajuddin Jamal and Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi, several ministers and senior officials and diplomats attended.
