Gaza clashes: Six Israelis killed in worst attack since 2002 By: Ahmed Hammadi GAZA CITY: Hamas dealt the Israeli army one of its heaviest losses in months during fierce fighting in the Gaza Strip, which came as Israeli Premier Ariel Sharon was trying to salvage a plan to pull out of the territory. The Ezzedin al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' armed wing, announced that its fighters had blown up an armored personnel carrier killing all six crew members during an Israeli raid into the Gaza City neighborhood of Zeitun that left seven Palestinians martyred and more than 70 others wounded. “The troop transport was completely destroyed and all soldiers were killed,” the statement said.
