Mourning Day on Shawwal 15, declares Moosavi

By: Salman Alvi

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The martyrdom anniversary of Janasheen-e-Rasool-e-Sadiq-o-Ameen (successor of truthful prophet (SAW)), waris-e-Quran-e-Samit-o-Natiq (inheritor of silent and speaking Quran) Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) will be observed with fervour and reverence as “Youm-e-Aza” (Mourning Day) on 15th Shawwal, November 28 throughout the country on the call of Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan.

In a statement issued here from Tehreek headquarters on Friday he said, Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) is the fountainhead of guidance and beacon of light.

Agha Moosavi appealed the Islamiyan-e-Pakistan to express solidarity with the oppressed world, Kashmir, Palestine, Thailand, Chechnya, Afghanistan, and Iraq and offer ‘dua’ for the success of oppressed nations and the Islamic World, development, survival and solidarity of the motherland Pakistan, during the “Youm-e-Aza” programmes so as to prove that Muslim Ummah is united and all colonial conspiracies to create rift amongst them would be thwarted by promoting brotherhood and mutual understanding.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said the condolences and consolation should be presented in the most respected court of Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) on that day.

Meanwhile, Central Committee of the TNFJ has been formed to organise countrywide programmes on “Youm-e-Aza”. Allama Sadiqi has been nominated Convener and Syed Assad-ul-Hussain as Secretary of the Committee.
