Asad-ul-Hussain demands ideological representation for Maktab-e-Tashayyo By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI: A meeting of the Central Youm-e-Aza Committee of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan was held here on Monday. Secretary of the Committee Syed Asad-ul-Hussain Jafri presided over the meeting. The participants of the meeting thanked all schools of thought for displaying mutual brotherhood, understanding and unity by full participation in the Youm-e-Aza programmes organised on 15 Shawwal marking the martyrdom anniversary of sixth king of imamate Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.). Syed Asad-ul-Hussain Jafri addressing the meeting said that the countrymen have proved through their deeds on the occasion of Youm-e-Aza that we share our happiness and grieves and would thwart every conspiracy of the enemies of religion and the motherland and would give priority to national interests over all other things in future also. While lauding the government performance in making effective measures on the occasion of Youm-e-Aza he condemned the media for ignoring Youm-e-Aza programmes and asked the government to take notice of this situation. He said Fiqh-e-Jafariya is commensurate with Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) and the demand of the TNFJ is to enforce Fiqh-e-Jafariya for Maktab-e-Tashayyo. In this connection he demanded equal ideological representation for the Ahl-e-Tashayyo in all State departments including media under the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement. A resolution adopted at the meeting expressed complete solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan and strongly condemned the American attacks on them. END |
