Ali (p) an embodiment of Islam, Ayatullah Al-Hakim

By: Ismail Zabeeh

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Ayatullah Sayyed Muhammad Said At-Tabatabai Al-Hakim has offered his condolences to Al-Imam Al-Mehdi Al-Montazar (peace be upon him) and all believers across the world on the martyrdom anniversary of Batl-ol Islam (Hero of Islam), Sayyed-ol Wasiyyeen and Amir-ol Mo’minin Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon them), where the hand transgressor of Allah's religion assassinated him, the hand of treachery and deviation, during his prayers and worship to his Lord, in an honorable night, the Night of Qadr.

In his message marking the occasion, Ayatullah Al-Hakim, who is one of the four Marajay in Holy Najaf, said personality of Al-Imam Amir-ol Mo’minin Ali (peace be upon him) is distinguished among Awliya Allah by unique characteristics i.e. patience, sacrifice, redemption, faithfulness and extinction in Allah’s personality.

Quoting a number of sayings of holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure progeny) about great status of Ali (peace be upon him) i.e. Ya Ali La Ya’refoka ill-lallah wa Anaa (O Ali! no one knows you but Allah and me), Aliyyon Ma’al Haq wal Haq Ma’a Ali, Yaduro Ma’aho Haithoma Dara (Ali is with truth and truth is with Ali, it turns with him wherever he turns), Anta Minni bay Manzilati Haroun Min Mousa (You are to me in the rank of Harun to Mousa) and many others, Ayatullah Al-Hakim urged the nation to follow pious sirah and character of this extraordinary personality (peace be upon him) who is an embodiment of the sublime teachings of Islam and a symbol of belief and justice.

"Knowledge is better than wealth because it protects you while you have to guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."
