Bahrain, UAE fete birthday of Imam Hassan (AS)

DUBAI: Celebrating the birth anniversary of Al-Imam Al-Hassan bin Ali (A.S.) on 15 of the month of Ramadan, splendid Mahafel and festivals were held across United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

A function to mark the occasion was organized at husseiniyah Rasul Al-Adham (S.W.) Al-Karbalaiyah in Dubai, UAE, attended by large number of mo’minin and followers of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.). The program started with recitation of holy Quran by Qari Salih Gharebi followed by different speakers including Sayyed Abdur Razzaq Al-Moosawi and Sheikh Riadh Nemat Salman. Sayyed Ahmed Jafar Mukhtar offered eulogies.

Meanwhile, programs in connection with Ramadan are held at the same venue. The programs include recitation of holy Quran, Dua Al-Iftetah, revival of Nights of Qadr, presentation of Sahour and Iftar banquets and holding of majales.

In Bahrain, throngs of devotees attended festive gatherings, festivals, galas and feasts held at beautifully decorated mosques and maatam. Speakers highlighted different aspects of the life of Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (A.S.) urging to follow his seerah to achieve success in this world and the hereafter.
