Bahraini kids mark Imam Ali (p) martyrdom anniversary

MANAMA, Bahrain: Like elders, Bahraini children also observed the martyrdom anniversary of Amir `ol Mo’minein Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) with due fervor and reverence.

The three-day mourning programs (Ramadan 19-21) were largely attended by the children, wearing black mourning dresses to commemorate the shocking occasion.

On 20th night of Ramadan, the children while performing aza `al-latm (chest beating) took out a mourning procession from hosainiyah Alhaj Ahmed bin Khamis.

Chanting ‘Ya Ali, Ya Ali’ and elegies marking the martyrdom anniversary of Nasser-i-Rasol Al-Imam Ali (peace be upon them), they extended their deep condolences to the holy family of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his pure progeny).
