US Muslims mark Hadhrat Ali (s) M-Anniversary, Night of Qadr

DETROIT, United States: Martyrdom anniversary of Amir-ul-Momineen Hadhrat Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S.) that coincides with the Night of Qadr was observed in different States and cities of the United States with respect and veneration.

Various organizations, associations, groups and missions organized three-day (19-21 Ramadhan) majalis-e-aza at mosques, husseinyat, imambargahs and Islamic centers to mark the occasion. Renowned speakers and religious scholars addressed and highlighted elevated status of Hadhrat Imam Ali (A.S.) in light of Quran and traditions from holy Prophet (S.W.).

In Detroit city, large number of devotees besides Ulema and Fodhalaa (religious scholars and notabilities) attended a majlis-e-aza and revival of the Night of Qadr which according to holy Quran is better than one thousand months. Prayer leader of Islamic Center USA Sayyed Hasan Al-Qazvini also attended.

Addressing the majlis, famous speaker Sheikh Ali Al-Asili Al-Amli threw light on virtues of Sayyed-ul-Wasiyyeen Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S.) and recited the Will of Imam Ali (A.S.) to his household and followers.

Earlier, Sayyed Ebrahim Salih addressed on the significance and importance of the month of Ramadhan and ended his speech while describing qualities and character of Imam Ali (A.S.).
