Thousands mark fortieth of Ayatullah Al-Hajeri

AL-AHSAA, Saudi Arabia: Fortieth day after the death of Saudi spiritual leader Ayatullah Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hajeri was observed in Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Marking the occasion, a main majles al-aza program was held at Husseiniyah Al-Ghadir in Al-Hafouf city of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, 29 Shaban, 13 October. Thousands of devotees besides a large number of religious scholars and notabilities attended.

Al-Ustaz Abdel Majid Al-Hamdan opened the mourning ceremony with recitation of holy Quran followed by Sheikh Adil Al-Amir, Sayyid Abdelamir, Sayyid Nasser As-Salman, Sheikh Abdur Rauf Al-Qarqush, Sheikh Hussein Ash-Sharji, Sayyid Ali, Mohammed Al-Muslim, Sayyid Mousa Ash-Shakhs, Sheikh Adel Bu-Khamsin and many others addressed and offered poetic tributes to the late Ayatullah. They threw light on the life and services of Ayatullah Al-Hajeri for promotion of Din Al-Haqq as well as his urging for observing all Sha’a’er Ad-Diniyah.

Later, dinner was served.

In Iran’s holy city of Qom, Saudi students from Qateef and Ahsaa organized a Majles-i-Husseini marking the occasion on Thursday, 29 Shaban, 14 October at Husseiniyah Al-Imam Al-Mehdi (p) attended by Arab and non-Arab religious scholars and representatives of Ayaat.

Sayyid Abdelali, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Al-Abdallah, Sheikh Hagi As-Sultan, Sheikh Ismail Al-Mushajra, Sheikh Anduljalil Al-Habib, Sayyid Hussein Al-Yassin and Sheikh Abdelmajid Al-Ahmed addressed.
